But at the beginning of every Bible Time Time episode, we ask the question what is your FPD? What does FPD stand for, Seven?

SPEAKER_03:

Favorite part of the day.

SPEAKER_00:

That's right, your favorite part of the day. Who wants to start? D? All right, D. What's your favorite part of the day?

SPEAKER_03:

Got two.

SPEAKER_00:

You have two favorite parts of the day?

SPEAKER_03:

Steak tacos with Cam going over to my grandma's.

SPEAKER_00:

Wasn't steak tacos in your last FPD?

SPEAKER_03:

Yep.

SPEAKER_00:

So steak tacos are essentially your favorite part of life.

SPEAKER_03:

No. No.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay. And what was your second one?

SPEAKER_03:

Going over to my grandma's house.

SPEAKER_00:

Ah, I love it. Okay, Ailey FPD.

SPEAKER_03:

Lading worship at church.

SPEAKER_00:

With in the main service? With the little kids. Oh, the kids. The kids. Alright. I love it. So heaven, FPD.

SPEAKER_03:

Eating lots of pizza and having chocolate cake.

SPEAKER_00:

I'm seeing a trend. You guys, you guys like uh you guys like food. That's fantastic. I would say that my FPD was uh taking a little nap today because it's Sunday and I do like taking a little nap. It was fantastic. All right, so let's go over. Oh, actually, I almost forgot. We have a special segment today, a new segment, and it's called Animal Facts with D. Fun. I think these are fun animal facts. So, Demarion, you gotta hit us with a fun animal fact. Wow us, go.

SPEAKER_03:

The fastest snake in the world is a black mambo with a speed of 14 miles per hour.

SPEAKER_00:

It can slither 14 miles per hour? Yes. Do you think you can run that fast?

SPEAKER_03:

No, I can run like 32.

SPEAKER_00:

You can run 32 miles per hour?

SPEAKER_03:

32 miles an hour? Maybe. Maybe from what the um bike thingy said in mom's room. Yeah, but that's biking. That's different.

SPEAKER_00:

So you think you could outrun a black mamba? Is that a black mamba? Is that what you said?

SPEAKER_03:

Yes.

SPEAKER_00:

A black mamba can slither 14 miles per hour. How do you feel about snakes, Seven?

SPEAKER_03:

They're cool.

SPEAKER_00:

You like them? So you would be okay with being chased by a black mamba?

SPEAKER_03:

Probably not.

SPEAKER_00:

That thing coming at you 14 miles per hour. All right, this is great. This has been Animal Facts with D. Okay, let's go over the rules for our trivia portion of the day. This trivia portion is gonna be divided into three rounds, two standard rounds, and then a third wager round. Yeah, that's right. It's a brand new type of uh type of contest that we're gonna introduce at the end of this uh this episode. So be ready for that. But right now we are gonna jump into round one, and the way it works is I'm gonna say the questions. Everyone's going to answer them on your paper, and then we will go back through and answer the questions together. Are you ready for round one?

SPEAKER_04:

Yes.

SPEAKER_00:

Here we go. Question number one. What man lost all of his possessions and his health, but remained true to God? What man lost all of his possessions and his health, but remained true to God? Question number two. What is the golden rule? What is the golden rule? And bonus points if you can tell me the scripture reference for where it is found in the Bible. Question number three. This is a hard one. When the people returned to Jerusalem from captivity in Babylon, who oversaw the rebuilding of the temple? When the people returned to Jerusalem from captivity in Babylon, who oversaw the rebuilding of the temple? Question number four. To whom did God give a sign of the sun moving backwards to show him that he was healed? Yeah. This is tough. To whom did God give a sign of the sun moving backwards to show him that he was healed? And question number five. What Syrian officer was healed of leprosy by bathing in the Jordan River at Elisha's command? Bonus points if you can tell me how many times he had to dip in the Jordan River. What Syrian officer was healed of leprosy by bathing in the Jordan River at Elisha's command? And bonus points for telling me how many times he dipped in the river to be healed. That is the end of round one.

SPEAKER_04:

Those were hard.

SPEAKER_00:

They were a little harder. You're right. They were good. Okay. Are you ready to go through the uh the answers? D, are you ready?

SPEAKER_05:

Yes.

SPEAKER_00:

To heaven, are you ready? Yes. Ailey, are you ready? Question number one. Sure. Sure, okay. Alright, question number one. What man lost all of his possessions and his health, but remained true to God? Seven.

SPEAKER_03:

I have no idea.

SPEAKER_00:

You have no idea. Oh no. Okay, Demarion.

SPEAKER_03:

Job.

SPEAKER_00:

That is absolutely correct. Great job. Great job. Okay, question number two. What is the golden rule, Ailey?

SPEAKER_04:

Treat everyone the way that you wish to be treated.

SPEAKER_00:

Very good. Bonus points for anyone that can tell me where that is found in the Bible. Bonus points.

SPEAKER_04:

I have a what?

SPEAKER_00:

An idea? Yeah. Go for it.

SPEAKER_04:

Is it somewhere in Luke?

SPEAKER_00:

It is not in Luke, but it is in a Matthew will give you one of those for Matthew. Anyone have a guess on like uh what chapter? No, not chapter 24. One? Nope. Two. We're not doing this. One. Yes, one of those was right.

SPEAKER_03:

Ten.

SPEAKER_00:

Nope, it was seven.

SPEAKER_03:

Sorry, you guys get one of those.

SPEAKER_00:

Chapter seven, verse twelve, I believe. Yes, Matthew seven, twelve is where the golden rule is. All right, question number three. When the people returned to Jerusalem from captivity in Babylon, who oversaw the rebuilding of the temple? Anybody? Did anybody have this? Is a hard one. You're right.

SPEAKER_04:

I wrote stuff down. What'd you write?

SPEAKER_00:

What'd you say? Ezra. Ezra or Nehemiah.

SPEAKER_03:

Job.

SPEAKER_00:

You wrote Job? Oh. I was like, that's funny. Um, okay. Ezra or Nehemiah. Both of those are in the right ballpark, but they're not correct. No, it does not. Did you have an answer, D?

SPEAKER_04:

Noah. Did you say Noah? Yeah. No. No.

SPEAKER_00:

Alright. So the answer. So this person went, I believe, went with Ezra at the same time as Ezra. Nehemiah came later, but the person who oversaw the rebuilding of the temple was Zerubbable.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, I was gonna get that. Everyone say it with me.

SPEAKER_00:

It's a really fun word to say. Isn't that funny? Zerubable. Zerubbable. It's like your lips bounce. Zerubbable. Try a deep.

SPEAKER_03:

Zerubable.

SPEAKER_00:

Zerubable. Zerubable.

SPEAKER_03:

Zerubable. Zerub.

SPEAKER_00:

Zerubbable. Okay. Question number four. To whom did God give a sign of the sun moving backwards to show him that he was healed? To whom did God give a sign of the sun moving backwards to show him that he was healed? Do you have an answer, Seven? You were raising your finger.

SPEAKER_04:

Abraham Abraham is no, it's not correct.

SPEAKER_00:

Ailey?

SPEAKER_04:

You know, I put this before I heard question number five. I put name in.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, wait, what? For real?

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Nope, that's not him. Damari, do you have an answer? No? He's shaking his head no for all of you podcast listeners. That you he you can't see him, but he is shaking his head no. The answer to this question is Hezekiah.

SPEAKER_04:

Oh, I knew that.

SPEAKER_00:

Hezekiah, yes. Um, all right, question number five. What Syrian officer was healed of leprosy by bathing in the Jordan River at Elisha's command? Demarion, do you have an answer?

SPEAKER_03:

No, but for the bonus question, I put seven. You're right.

SPEAKER_00:

That is the you got the bonus answer correct.

SPEAKER_03:

I actually read this story this year, but I forgot who it was.

SPEAKER_00:

Do you have a guess?

SPEAKER_03:

Nope. Nope. Kind of like just that guy.

SPEAKER_00:

She did just say it.

SPEAKER_04:

You did.

SPEAKER_00:

What is it?

SPEAKER_04:

It's Naaman.

SPEAKER_00:

It is Naaman. Alright. That is the end of round one. He did a worked. Our contestants did a great job. Okay, so at the end of round one, in between round one and round two, we have another special segment for you today. Brand new segment. We all know that uh teenagers are the arbiters of all that is cool. So we thought we would ask the question to Ailey: what's cool? What what what worship songs, Christian songs, what are you listening to right now? What songs are speaking to you, and why do you like those songs? So, Ailey, take it away.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay, so this song is called Why Should I Worry? And it's by Carly Ann Taylor. So the song starts off by saying, Why should I worry? And why should I fear? Just look at the lilies and wipe all those tears. Tomorrow's frustrations will come on their own. So focused right now and focus on home. The song continues to go, you make my striving cease, you lift my burdens off of me, you come the rage and see my anxieties. And the song ends with saying, That's just who you are. And I love this song because it's just saying, like, God's in control of it all, and we don't have to worry about tomorrow because tomorrow will worry about itself.

SPEAKER_00:

I like that. I like that. So, Heaven, how do you feel about this song? Do you like the song as well?

SPEAKER_04:

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay, so both teenagers in the room say that this is a teenager approved song, so we can give it two thumbs. No, you have a you have something to add to this? Go for it. Add away.

SPEAKER_04:

It's not important.

SPEAKER_00:

It's not the song's not important?

SPEAKER_04:

No. Her thoughts are not important.

SPEAKER_00:

What you were gonna say is not important right now? Okay, well, this has been a two thumbs up song from our teenagers in the room.

SPEAKER_04:

Actually, four. Four thumbs up.

SPEAKER_00:

You're both giving two thumbs up to this song.

SPEAKER_04:

So uh tell me the name of the song again and who is by Why Should I Worry by Carly Ann Taylor.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay, why should I worry by Carly Ann Taylor?

SPEAKER_04:

Carly Ann Taylor.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, she does have the same middle name as you. That's what you're gonna tell me. Yes. Uh Carly Ann Taylor.

SPEAKER_04:

Carly Ann Taylor. Why should I worry? Why? Why should I worry?

SPEAKER_00:

How do you spell that?

SPEAKER_04:

That's how you spell it.

SPEAKER_00:

All right, go check it out. It's now time for round two. Here we go. Round two of our trivia. Question number one. What king of Babylon conquered Jerusalem and the Kingdom of Judah? What king of Babylon conquered Jerusalem and the king and the kingdom of Judah?

SPEAKER_03:

I just learned about this sort of, but I have no idea.

SPEAKER_00:

You're already telling me you don't know? Alright. Alright. That's question number one. Question number two, you ready? Who was called the weeping prophet? Who was called the weeping prophet? These are hard.

SPEAKER_04:

You guys are I actually just learned about the weeping prophet.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay.

SPEAKER_04:

But I might not remember. I think I got it wrong.

SPEAKER_00:

Question number three. Whom did God take directly to heaven in a whirlwind? This is a callback question. Demarion got this right half. But it wasn't the same question. It wasn't about somebody else. Whom did God take directly to heaven in a whirlwind? Question number four. Who interpreted a famous dream for King Nebuchadnezzar Nebuchadnezzar? Nebuchadnezzar. Who interpreted a famous dream for King Nebuchadnezzar? Who interpreted the dream for King Nebuchadnezzar? That's question number four. And finally, question number five. Who was the Jewish girl who became the wife of the king of Persia? And became the queen of Persia.

SPEAKER_05:

Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Who was the Jewish girl who became the wife of the king of Persia? Question number five. Alright, are you ready for the answers? Heaven, you ready to go? Ailey, you ready to go?

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

D, you ready to go?

SPEAKER_03:

Can I answer? Those were hard. I only can answer them.

unknown:

Okay.

SPEAKER_03:

Those were hard. Okay, these were hard.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay, well, here we go. Question number one. What king of Babylon conquered Jerusalem and the kingdom of Judah? Savan, you have an answer? No? Deed, do you have an answer?

SPEAKER_04:

No.

SPEAKER_00:

Ailey, do you have an answer?

SPEAKER_04:

I have an answer. What is it? I put Ahab?

SPEAKER_00:

It is not Ahab, but in fact, Nebuchadnezzar. Nebuchadnezzar. Yes, here we go. Nebuchadnezzar was the king who conquered.

SPEAKER_04:

Nebuchadnezzar?

SPEAKER_00:

Nebuchadnezzar. Nebuchadnezzar.

SPEAKER_04:

Nebuchadnezzar. Nebuchadnezzar. Nebuchadnezzar. Nebu Nebu.

SPEAKER_00:

Nebuchadnezzar. Nebuchadnezzar.

SPEAKER_03:

I was always talking about Nebuchadnezzar. Nebuchadnezzar. Nebuchadnezzar. Neber. Nebuchadnezzar. Nebuchadnezzar. Nebuchadnezzar.

SPEAKER_00:

The way it's spelled is Nebuchadnezzar.

SPEAKER_03:

What? Nebuchadnezzar.

SPEAKER_00:

Nebuchadnezzar.

SPEAKER_03:

Nebuchadnezzar Dennis. Nebuchadnezzar. Nebuchadnezzar.

SPEAKER_00:

Nebuchadnezzar. I don't know. All right. Question number two. Who was called the weeping prophet? Seven.

SPEAKER_03:

I have an idea. D Ruth.

SPEAKER_00:

D. D. I think that's actually one of these, I think. Yeah. Ailey!

SPEAKER_04:

Uh Jeremiah.

SPEAKER_00:

Jeremiah is correct. Jerry.

SPEAKER_03:

I thought you were gonna say Jeroboam.

SPEAKER_00:

I thought it was Chairjadnezir or something.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah. Nebuchadnezzar.

SPEAKER_00:

Nebuchadnezzar. Alright, um, that was number two, right? Alright, number three. Demarion. Whom did God?

unknown:

Oh.

SPEAKER_00:

What?

SPEAKER_03:

Elijah.

SPEAKER_00:

Elijah or Elijah. Elisha. Elijah.

SPEAKER_03:

Elijah!

SPEAKER_00:

Let me just take it.

SPEAKER_03:

Even though I didn't write it down.

SPEAKER_00:

Let me get all the way through. Whom did God take directly to heaven in a whirlwind? Demarion.

SPEAKER_03:

Elijah.

SPEAKER_00:

Elijah with a J, right?

SPEAKER_03:

Yes. Not Elijah. Not Elijah.

SPEAKER_00:

That's correct. Fantastic, fantastic.

SPEAKER_03:

I said Elijah.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, you said Shah.

SPEAKER_03:

She said That was the only one that I was certain. Oh apparently you weren't certain enough.

SPEAKER_00:

That's true. Number four. Who interpreted a famous dream for King Nebuchadnezzar? Who interpreted a famous dream for Nebuchadnezzar? Demarion. Come on. You got this one. No? Who interpreted dreams in the Bible?

SPEAKER_03:

Joseph.

SPEAKER_00:

Joseph, and there was one other guy that was famous for interpreting dreams.

SPEAKER_03:

Daniel.

SPEAKER_00:

Daniel. So one of those two, which one would it be? Daniel. Daniel?

SPEAKER_03:

Daniel. Is that your final answer? Yes.

SPEAKER_00:

Are you sure?

SPEAKER_03:

Yes. Yeah! Alright. I thought about that yesterday.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, you want that? Better. Okay. Um, let's see. That was question number four, right? Okay. And question number five. Saheven. Who was the Jewish girl?

SPEAKER_03:

I don't really know.

SPEAKER_00:

Who became the wife of the king of Persia?

SPEAKER_03:

Alice just eating.

SPEAKER_00:

I'm gonna give you other hints, alright?

SPEAKER_03:

Oh. I don't do well with hints.

SPEAKER_00:

You don't do well. Well, what if I just spell it for you? And then you just tell me. E S T Esther.

SPEAKER_03:

Esther. She didn't get it.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, she did. She didn't.

SPEAKER_03:

We didn't even spell the whole thing.

SPEAKER_00:

So I just said E-S-T.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, it could have been like S two footer estimate.

SPEAKER_00:

It could have been Nebuchadnezzar.

SPEAKER_03:

It's not gonna be Nebuchadnezzar.

SPEAKER_00:

Maybe that's how you spell Nebu Chad Nezert.

SPEAKER_03:

Esther might be the only Neb like actual Chad. Okay, so Ruth, Esther, Naomi, and um Noah are literally like in Jeremiah, are literally the only names pretty much in the Bible. And Daniel.

SPEAKER_00:

What about Matthew?

SPEAKER_03:

And Elijah. And Matthew, and Mark. And like all the names in the entire Bible.

SPEAKER_00:

Paul.

SPEAKER_04:

And Paul. Did he say that there's only like five names in the Bible?

SPEAKER_00:

No, I think he said those are the only names that like we have today.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, because there's like Nebuchadnezzar, Matthew, Mark, Luke, Elijah, John, Mark, Luke, John, Axe, Naomi, Axe, and Roman. First Corinthians. Corinthians, Galatians.

SPEAKER_04:

First and second Corinthians. Galatians? Philippians.

SPEAKER_03:

Philippians. Revelation. Revelations.

SPEAKER_00:

What is I don't know what's going on?

SPEAKER_03:

I've been someone named Genesis before.

SPEAKER_00:

Ladies and gentlemen, I've really done lost control of the podcast. Please send help. Please send help. That's really the All right. Did we finish round two?

SPEAKER_05:

Yes.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay. All right. It's time for a brand new round. We've never done this before. I have no idea how this is gonna go.

SPEAKER_03:

Wager round.

SPEAKER_00:

But this is the wager round. Alright, so here are the rules of the wager round. There are three levels of question: a level one question, a level two question, and a level three question. Each level of question comes with a different set of rewards and consequences. Level one, if you get the answer correct, you get a quarter. You get 25 cents. You just won 25 cents. If you get the answer wrong, you have to take out the trash. Okay, that's level one. Level two, if you get the answer correct, you get you have earned a cup of hot chocolate. You can make it right after we're done recording here. You get to go and make a cup of hot chocolate. However, if you don't get it correct, you get a whipped cream pie to the face. That's right. Level three. If you get level three correct, a level three question correct, you win three dollars. However, if you get a level three question incorrect, you must be fed mystery food by one of your siblings. You have to close your eyes and eat mystery food. Yeah. You don't know what it's gonna be. It might be a cookie, it might be something else. We don't know.

SPEAKER_04:

No, it's definitely gonna be something else.

SPEAKER_00:

Listen, I give final say on what goes, what gets fed to anybody. We're not gonna like feed them, you know, ghost peppers or dog food. No, we're not.

SPEAKER_03:

That's not feeding me. No, we're not. Honestly, take away all on. If Ailey wants to feed me dog food, I will take one piece of dog food and eat it.

SPEAKER_00:

That's not happening. I am not approving that. I'm approving it. All right.

SPEAKER_03:

We got one boat.

SPEAKER_00:

So here we go. We are gonna go. Everyone gets one question. So you have to pick if you want a level one, a level two, or level three. So think about it now. We're gonna start with tomorrow. We're gonna go in in reverse age order. We're gonna go two. Level two is a cup of hot chocolate or whipped cream pie to the face.

SPEAKER_03:

Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay. Level three is three dollars or the food. Level one is twenty-five cents or take out the trash. All right. Here we go. For us to move forward, we have to you have to pick which level of question you want to answer. So, Demarion, which level do you want to answer? Level one, two, or three?

SPEAKER_03:

Two.

SPEAKER_00:

Two. So you want to you go in for hot chocolate or a pie in the face? That is what is about to happen. All right, folks. Here we go. Demarion, here is your level two question. Who was Joseph's first master in Egypt? Who was Joseph's first master in Egypt? You have five seconds. Please answer.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah!

SPEAKER_00:

You got it! That's right. All right, Jamar, and you have earned yourself a cup of hot chocolate. As soon as we're done here, you can go make that and drink it up. All right, Ailey, have you chosen number one? Oh, sorry, Se Heaven. Is it Seven? Okay. Seven, level one, level two, or level three? Level one. Okay, level one.

SPEAKER_03:

Level one.

SPEAKER_00:

Alright, so you're going for 25 cents or take out the trash. Here's your level one question. By what miracle did Israel leave the land of Egypt? By what miracle did Israel leave the land of Egypt? What happened? What miraculous thing happened so that they could leave the land of Egypt? You have five seconds. Please answer. Wait, what? No, you're right. What else happened? Seven, you owe me trash being taken out. Alright, the correct answer is Yes, you can say it.

SPEAKER_03:

But there's no trash! The waters were parted of the Red Sea so they could cross.

SPEAKER_00:

The Red Sea was parted so they could cross. That's correct. Do I get a you don't get anything? Sorry. That was Sevan's question. Alright, Ailey, what level of question are you looking for? Level one, level two, or level three?

SPEAKER_04:

Dos.

SPEAKER_00:

Level two. So you also are going for a hot chocolate or a whipped cream pie to the face.

SPEAKER_03:

If Alay the search wrong, can I be the person to pie her?

SPEAKER_00:

No, you cannot.

SPEAKER_03:

Please, but I'm gnarly.

SPEAKER_00:

On what mountain did God give Moses the Ten Commandments? On what mountain did God give Moses the Ten Commandments? Ailey.

SPEAKER_04:

Mount Sinai.

SPEAKER_00:

Mount Sinai is correct. I am so disappointed that I don't get to pie anybody. But this is a good thing.

SPEAKER_04:

Maybe we should pie me. What if we ask you like a level four question?

SPEAKER_00:

What's a level four question? There's never been a level four question in the history of the world.

SPEAKER_04:

It's a fine one.

SPEAKER_00:

Let's find all right, folks. This has been another episode of Bible Time Time. It's great to have you here. Thanks so much for joining in and playing along.
